Founded in May 2022 in Manama, Bahrain, Arjun Chess Academy began with a simple mission: to make chess accessible, enjoyable, and ransformative for learners of all ages and levels

In under three years, our academy has empowered over 1000 students worldwide-locally and across the GCC- with a proven track record in both online and in-person training.

Our Vision

We believe chess is more than just a game it's a lifestyle that sharpens your mind, boosts creativity, and builds life skills.

Through structured lessons and interactive coaching, students learn to think ahead, collaborate, and solve complex problems skills that serve them well beyond the board.

Our holistic approach ensures that every student not only improves their game but also develops discipline, patience, and resilience that positively influence their academic and personal lives.

Meet Our Founder – Chess Master Arjun

Arjun Kakkadath was introduced to chess at the age of 7. Since then he has been fascinated about the world of 64 squares. He has travelled extensively all around the world for chess and that has taught me immensely about life as well as chess.

He has been working as Chess teacher, trainer or coach for the past 10 years and have created international Fide rated players all over the globe. Arjun’s Chess Academy is my humble initiative to promote the game of chess and to create champions.
