Arjun’s Chess Academy (ACA) students delivered an outstanding performance at the Sh. Khaled Schools Chess Tournament 2024-2025, held at Khalifa Sports City, Isa Town, Bahrain, from April 24 to 28, 2025.


The tournament featured competitions across 8 different age categories for boys and girls, and ACA students made their mark by winning a total of 10 prizes, including 6 championship titles.
The tournament was divided into four age groups:
•    6–8 Years (Boys and Girls)
•    9–11 Years (Boys and Girls)
•    12–14 Years (Boys and Girls)
•    15–17 Years (Boys and Girls)

Champions from Arjun’s Chess Academy:

•    Pranav Bobby Sekhar – 15–17 Years Boys (Bahrain Indian School)

•    Rudra N – 12–14 Years Boys (New Millennium School)

•    Hudson A – 9–11 Years Boys (New Millennium School)

•    Saatvik Sharma – 6–8 Years Boys (New Millennium School)

•    Yashvi Shah – 9–11 Years Girls (New Indian School)

•    Immaculate Ann John – 6–8 Years Girls (Bahrain Indian School)

Second Place Winners:

•    Arnav Singh Dewan – 12–14 Years Boys (Bahrain Indian School)

•    Noel Abraham Punnoose – 9–11 Years Boys (New Indian School)

•    Aarsh Ajith Bangera – 6–8 Years Boys (New Indian School)

Third Place Winner:

•    Prithvi Raj Prajeesh – 15–17 Years Boys (New Millennium School)

Other Notable Performances:

•    Kasinath Siljith – 9–11 Years Boys (Indian School Bahrain): Tied for 3rd place, finished 6th after tiebreak.

•    Tanya Singh – 12–14 Years Girls (New Millennium School): Tied for 2nd place, finished 5th after tiebreak.

•    Pradhyumn Santhosh – 6–8 Years Boys (Asian School Bahrain): Tied for 2nd place, finished 4th after tiebreak.

•    Janet George – 9–11 Years Girls (Indian School Bahrain): Finished 5th.

•    Rudra Desai – 12–14 Years Boys (British School Bahrain): Tied for 2nd place, finished 4th after tiebreak.

 

The students of Arjun’s Chess Academy showcased their skills, determination, and sportsmanship, achieving fantastic results across all categories. Their performances reflect the academy’s strong focus on training and developing young chess talents in Bahrain.
