Register for Our Chess Classes Now
The Abdulaziz Bin Jassim Kanoo Chess Championship 2025, organized by the Bahrain Chess Federation, was held from December 4–6, 2025 at The ART Hotel, Amwaj.
This year’s event was very strong, with 86 players from 16 different federations taking part.
Eight students from Arjun’s Chess Academy participated in this tough international field, and two of them won prizes.
Prize Winners
Prithvi Raj Prajeesh – 8th Place Overall
Prithvi scored 7.5 points out of 11 rounds and finished inside the Top 10 in a highly competitive field.
Aaryan Anil Jai Prabhakaran – Best Under 1800 Rating Category
Aaryan scored 7 points out of 11 rounds and won the prize for the Best Player in the Below 1800 Rating Category.
