Arjun’s Chess Academy at Abu Dhabi Chess Festival 2025 ✨♟️

Bahrain’s Arjun’s Chess Academy (ACA) has started playing in the 31st Abu Dhabi Chess Festival 2025, which is taking place from 14th to 24th August in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is one of the biggest chess festivals in the world, with more than 3,000 players from many countries taking part in 31 different tournaments.

This is the third year in a row that ACA is part of the festival. The team is led by coach Mr. Arjun Kakkadath, who is guiding the students to gain experience by competing with strong international players.

The ACA team has 10 students — Prithvi Raj, Aaryan, Dhrupad, Arnav, Rudra, Khush, Jishnu, Vaishnav, Nimit and Tanya. They will be playing in different tournaments such as the Standard Open, Junior Open, Schools Tournament, Academy Tournament, and Blitz.

Coach Arjun said that the festival is a great chance for the students to learn, improve, and test their skills against some of the best players in the world. The team is well prepared and aiming to bring good results and make Bahrain proud.
